Rich Jones came ashore in 1992 after for years aboard commercial vessels and having operated a yacht delivery and charter business.
Rich says, “I picked up a lot of electrical know-how aboard ships contracted to MSTS [Military Sea Transport Service] so when I swallowed the anchor I knew what I wanted to do ashore.” He enrolled in electrical school and embarked on learning the trade. “I worked for just about every company on Marco Island because I wanted a broad range of experience.” It was during this time that Rich realized that there was a niche that could be filled in electrical service. Although the electrical companies he worked for provided highly competent service, it seemed the quality of simply being nice to the customer was missing.
